Description
This Juan Ortiz The Way to Eden Black design comes from Star Trek: The Original Series, the 1966 show NBC cancelled after three seasons and syndication turned into a religion. The first pilot, The Cage, was rejected for being too cerebral and starred Jeffrey Hunter as Captain Pike. NBC ordered a second pilot, which almost never happens, and got Kirk instead. Gene Roddenberry sold it to the network as a western in space, which is how a show about diplomacy, ethics and a pacifist science officer got made in the middle of the 1960s at all.
Tribbles were built in a weekend from fake fur and simple motors, and the episode is the most beloved of the run. NBC cancelled it after three seasons and 79 episodes. Syndication made it a phenomenon afterward. This one is printed on a black unisex v-neck t-shirt in sizes S through 2XL. Grab it for yourself or for the friend who still argues about the Kobayashi Maru.
