Description
This The Naked Time Black design comes from Star Trek: The Original Series, the 1966 show NBC cancelled after three seasons and syndication turned into a religion. Leonard Nimoy adapted the Vulcan salute from a Jewish priestly blessing he had seen as a child in synagogue. He improvised it on set because the script simply said the Vulcans greet each other. Gene Roddenberry sold it to the network as a western in space, which is how a show about diplomacy, ethics and a pacifist science officer got made in the middle of the 1960s at all.
NASA named its first space shuttle Enterprise after a write-in campaign by fans. The first pilot, The Cage, starred Jeffrey Hunter as Captain Pike and was rejected as too cerebral. This one is printed on a black unisex t-shirt in sizes S through 6XL. Officially licensed and printed on heavyweight cotton.
