This Juan Ortiz The Enterprise Incident Black design comes from Star Trek: The Original Series, the 1966 show NBC cancelled after three seasons and syndication turned into a religion. The first pilot, The Cage, was rejected for being too cerebral and starred Jeffrey Hunter as Captain Pike. NBC ordered a second pilot, which almost never happens, and got Kirk instead. Star Trek premiered on NBC in September 1966 and was cancelled after three seasons and 79 episodes. Syndication did what the network would not. Reruns built an audience large enough that NASA named its first space shuttle Enterprise after a write-in campaign, and a show that failed on first broadcast became thirteen films and more than a dozen series.

NASA named its first space shuttle Enterprise after a write-in campaign by fans. Martin Luther King Jr. personally persuaded Nichelle Nichols not to leave the show. This one is printed on a black unisex long sleeve t-shirt in sizes S through 3XL. Officially licensed and printed on heavyweight cotton.

Features:

  • Black Unisex Long Sleeve T-Shirt
  • 100% cotton
