St Patrick's Day Irish and Proud Youth/Toddler T-Shirt

This Irish and Proud design is for St Patrick's Day, the feast day that turned into the most enthusiastically borrowed national holiday on earth. The earliest recorded St Patrick's Day parades were in North America rather than Ireland, held by Irish soldiers and emigrant societies well before the custom travelled home. For much of the twentieth century Irish law closed the pubs on March 17, because it was a religious holiday; the restriction was lifted in the 1960s.

St Patrick was born in Roman Britain, not Ireland. Blue, not green, was the colour first associated with him. This one is printed on a kelly green youth t-shirt in sizes Youth S through Infant 24M.
