Technical drawings of the Eagle Transporter: side, top, front and rear elevations with the specifications called out alongside. The Eagle's appeal has always been that it reads as engineering rather than sculpture, and a blueprint is the most honest way to look at it.

Brian Johnson designed it for Space 1999 in 1975 as a modular craft, a lattice spine that accepts different payload pods, so the same airframe could haul cargo, passengers or a laboratory. Model makers have been building them ever since.
