South Park The Towelie Crewneck Sweatshirt

This The Towelie design comes from South Park, the Comedy Central series that has been made out of construction paper, or something that looks like it, since 1997 and shows no sign of stopping. The look is the joke. It imitates cut-paper animation, with characters built from simple geometric shapes and mouths that flap. That deliberate crudeness let the show turn episodes around in under a week, which is why it can respond to something that happened on a Monday by Wednesday night.

Towelie was written as a deliberately terrible character, a talking towel who offers to get you high, and the show says so out loud within his own episodes. He became genuinely popular anyway.
