This Retro Circle Logo design comes from Sonny and Cher, the husband-and-wife act who turned two hit singles and a lot of on-stage bickering into one of the biggest variety shows on American television. The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour ran on CBS from 1971 and made the pair household names beyond music. The format was built almost entirely on Cher insulting Sonny in front of a studio audience, and it worked.
