Sleepy Hollow Heads Will Roll Crewneck Sweatshirt

This Heads Will Roll design comes from Sleepy Hollow, the 1999 Tim Burton film that turned a short American ghost story into a gothic murder mystery with a great deal of blood in the snow. Danny Elfman wrote the score, one of the more gothic entries in a long partnership with Burton, built on choir and strings rather than the playful themes of their earlier films. It cost roughly one hundred million dollars and took more than double that worldwide, which made a violent R rated period horror film into a genuine mainstream hit.

In the Washington Irving story Ichabod Crane is a schoolteacher. The film makes him a police constable with a case of forensic instruments, which is entirely an invention of the screenplay.
