Shazam! Fury of the Gods Comic Cover Tank Top

This Comic Cover design comes from Shazam! Fury of the Gods, the 2023 sequel that brought in the Daughters of Atlas and gave the whole foster family powers. Shazam! was released in 2019, directed by David F. Sandberg, and is the rare superhero film that plays its premise entirely straight as a comedy. Billy Batson is a fourteen year old foster kid who says a word and becomes an adult superhero, and the film is mostly about a teenager with no idea what to do with that. The character predates most of the DC roster he now sits beside, and for decades he was called Captain Marvel — he outsold Superman in the 1940s before a long trademark fight changed the name.

David F. Sandberg came from horror, having directed Lights Out and Annabelle: Creation, which is why the Sins sequences are genuinely frightening. Tawky Tawny, the talking tiger, comes straight from the 1940s comics and appears in the film as a nod to them. This one is printed on a black unisex tank top in sizes S through 2XL.
