This Evil Sivana design comes from Shazam!, the film about a fourteen year old foster kid who says a word and turns into an adult superhero with none of the judgement to go with it. The character predates most of the DC roster he now sits beside, and for decades he was called Captain Marvel — he outsold Superman in the 1940s before a long trademark fight changed the name. Fury of the Gods followed in 2023 with the Daughters of Atlas as antagonists, and leaned harder on the mythology and on the foster family all having powers.

Zachary Levi plays the adult superhero as a fourteen year old boy throughout, which is the entire comic engine of the film. The character was originally called Captain Marvel and outsold Superman in the 1940s, before a trademark dispute forced the change.
