This Being Watched design comes from Scooby-Doo, the Hanna-Barbera cartoon that has been running in one form or another since 1969 on the strength of a van, a dog, and a villain in a rubber mask. Design-wise the 1969 model sheets are the ones that stuck: flat colour, heavy outlines, four silhouettes you can identify from across a room. Every reboot since has drifted and then drifted back.
