School of Rock Rockin Youth/Toddler T-Shirt

This Rockin design comes from School of Rock, the 2003 comedy in which a failed guitarist commits serious identity fraud and accidentally becomes a good teacher. It kept going without him. Andrew Lloyd Webber turned it into a Broadway musical in 2015, and Nickelodeon ran a television series from 2016, which is a lot of afterlife for a film about lying to children. Dewey is thrown out of his own band, impersonates a substitute teacher at Horace Green Prep, and turns a class of ten year olds into a competition band. Joan Cusack plays the wound up principal, and the film is generous enough to give her a genuine character rather than an obstacle.

Nickelodeon ran a School of Rock television series starting in 2016. Led Zeppelin rarely license their recordings. Linklater and Black filmed a video plea in front of a huge festival crowd chanting for permission, and the band cleared Immigrant Song.
