Ren and Stimpy R Is for Ren Youth Hoodie

This R Is for Ren design comes from The Ren and Stimpy Show, the 1991 Nicktoon that spent three seasons finding out exactly how much a childrens network would tolerate. The friction with the network was constant and it ended badly. Kricfalusi was removed from his own show in 1992 and production moved to an in-house studio, which is why fans argue endlessly about where the series stops being the real thing.

Stimpy was voiced by Billy West, who went on to voice most of Futurama. Kricfalusi voiced Ren himself, which is part of why the performance sounds like someone genuinely losing his temper.
