Description
This Happy Happy Joy Joy Monotone design comes from The Ren and Stimpy Show, the 1991 Nicktoon that spent three seasons finding out exactly how much a childrens network would tolerate. Creator John Kricfalusi built the show around extreme close-ups and lovingly painted gross-out frames, a deliberate throwback to the Bob Clampett school of animation that had been sanded smooth by decades of television. Nobody on Saturday morning looked like this.
Happy Happy Joy Joy started as a song performed by a fictional folk singer inside one episode and escaped into the culture completely, to the point where most people who quote it have never seen the scene. This one is printed on a white unisex sweatshirt in sizes S through 3XL. Officially licensed and printed on heavyweight cotton, built to survive being yelled at.
Features:
- White Unisex Sweatshirt
- 80% cotton, 20% polyester
