Play-Doh Lid Kelly Green Youth/Toddler T-Shirt

This Lid design comes from Play-Doh, the squishy yellow can of primary-coloured compound that started life as a wallpaper cleaner and ended up in the National Toy Hall of Fame. The original compound came in one colour — off-white — and the red, yellow and blue that everyone pictures did not arrive until 1957. The can, the lid and the palette have barely changed since.

The original was off-white and unscented. Colour arrived in 1957 and the familiar smell was added later specifically so the stuff would be more pleasant to sit in a room with.
