Lord of the Rings Riders of Rohan Crewneck Sweatshirt

This Riders of Rohan design comes from The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, the 2002 middle chapter that has no beginning and no ending and is somehow the best paced of the three. The Rohan material is where the trilogy widens out. Bernard Hill plays Theoden, Miranda Otto is Eowyn, Karl Urban is Eomer, and the white horse on a green field becomes one of the few heraldic devices in modern film that people actually recognise. It won two Academy Awards, for Visual Effects and Sound Editing, and took over nine hundred million dollars worldwide. Treebeard is voiced by John Rhys-Davies, who is also in the film under a great deal of makeup as Gimli.

John Rhys-Davies voices Treebeard as well as playing Gimli. The white horse on green is the heraldic device of Rohan, and turns up on banners throughout the film.
