Dubble Bubble Bite Drink Chew Youth/Toddler T-Shirt

This Bite Drink Chew design comes from Dubble Bubble, the gum that got its pink colour because it was the only food dye the factory had on hand. Dubble Bubble was invented in 1928 by Walter Diemer, an accountant at the Fleer Chewing Gum Company who was experimenting with gum recipes on his own time. The wrapper carried a small comic, the Fleer Funnies, starring a character called Pud, and for decades that comic was the only thing many children read with their sweets.
