Betty Boop Zombie Pinup Youth/Toddler T-Shirt

This Zombie Pinup design comes from Betty Boop, the Jazz Age cartoon star who has outlived nearly every character she shared a screen with. Max Fleischer patented the rotoscope in 1915, and the studio used it to put live performance into animation decades before anyone called it motion capture. The singer Helen Kane sued over the character in 1932, claiming it copied her boop-oop-a-doop delivery. She lost in 1934 after the defence produced evidence that the scat style predated her, including performances by Baby Esther Jones.
