Betty Boop Summer Shades White Youth/Toddler T-Shirt

This Summer Shades White design comes from Betty Boop, the Jazz Age cartoon star who has outlived nearly every character she shared a screen with. Mae Questel voiced the character for most of the run, and the theatrical series ended in 1939 after more than a hundred shorts. Cab Calloway performed for several shorts and was rotoscoped into them, so the ghost and the walrus in Minnie the Moocher and Snow-White move with his actual dance steps.

Betty Boop debuted in 1930 in the short Dizzy Dishes. She was originally drawn as a dog, and her ears became her hoop earrings. This one is printed on a white youth t-shirt in sizes Youth S through Toddler 3T.
