Betty Boop Classic Kiss Faded Heart Youth Hoodie

This Classic Kiss Faded Heart design comes from Betty Boop, the Jazz Age cartoon star who has outlived nearly every character she shared a screen with. Mae Questel voiced the character for most of the run, and the theatrical series ended in 1939 after more than a hundred shorts. The Hays Code caught up with the series in 1934 and the studio was made to lengthen her hemline and tone the shorts down; fans have argued ever since that it took the life out of them.

She was originally drawn as a dog, and her ears became her hoop earrings. Betty Boop debuted in 1930 in the short Dizzy Dishes. This one is printed on a black youth hoodie in sizes Youth S through Youth XL.
