Betty Boop Sweetheart Athletic Heather T-Shirt

This Sweetheart design comes from Betty Boop, the Jazz Age cartoon star who has outlived nearly every character she shared a screen with. Max Fleischer patented the rotoscope in 1915, and the studio used it to put live performance into animation decades before anyone called it motion capture. Mae Questel voiced the character for most of the run, and the theatrical series ended in 1939 after more than a hundred shorts.
