This Centipede Screen design comes from Atari, the company that turned the arcade into a living room. The stylised A in the logo is usually read as a stylised Mount Fuji, and the name itself is a term from Go meaning a stone is about to be captured. The Video Computer System of 1977, later renamed the 2600, established the idea that a console is a platform and the games are interchangeable cartridges.
