Where the Wild Things Are
Where the Wild Things Are is Maurice Sendak's 1963 picture book about Max, a boy in a wolf suit who is sent to bed without supper, sails off to an island of monsters, and becomes king of all wild things. It won the Caldecott Medal in 1964 and has been read aloud to generations of kids since.
