Trivial Pursuit
Trivial Pursuit was invented in 1979 by two Canadian newspapermen, Chris Haney and Scott Abbott, reportedly after discovering pieces missing from their Scrabble set. It reached shops in 1981 and detonated in 1984, selling in the tens of millions.
Play turns on collecting six coloured wedges, one per category — the pieces everybody calls pies. The early editions were notoriously hard, with questions researched out of reference books rather than pulled from a database. Hasbro acquired the game in 2008.
Officially licensed Trivial Pursuit graphic t shirts printed on demand: unisex tees, ladies v-necks, long sleeves, hoodies, youth and toddler sizes. Plus size tees to 5XL depending on the shirt colour, with Tall sizes. Board game and fandom t shirts.
