The Flash TV Show

The Flash premiered on The CW in 2014 as a spin-off of Arrow and ran for nine seasons, the longest run of any Arrowverse series. Grant Gustin plays Barry Allen, the Central City forensic scientist struck by lightning when the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator explodes. John Wesley Shipp, who played the Flash in the 1990 CBS series, returns here as Barry’s father. The show gave fans Zoom, the Reverse-Flash, Kid Flash and Jesse Quick, and anchored the annual Arrowverse crossovers alongside Supergirl, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.
