Polar Express

The Polar Express began as a 1985 picture book by Chris Van Allsburg — thirty-two pages that won the Caldecott Medal on the strength of its illustrations. Robert Zemeckis adapted it in 2004 as the first feature made entirely with performance capture, with Tom Hanks playing five roles.
