Nerf

Nerf started in 1969 with a four-inch foam ball and a promise no other toy could make: throw it indoors and you will not break a lamp. The name is an acronym — Non-Expanding Recreational Foam — and it was invented by Reyn Guyer, the same person who gave the world Twister.
