Man of Steel

Zack Snyder's Man of Steel opened on June 14, 2013, with Henry Cavill as Clark Kent and a score by Hans Zimmer. It was the first film in the DC Extended Universe. In this version the S on Superman's chest is a Kryptonian symbol, the crest of the House of El, and it stands for hope.
