Clue

Clue was invented in England during the Second World War by Anthony E. Pratt, a musician who wanted a parlour game for evenings spent indoors during the blackout. It was published in 1949, as Cluedo by Waddingtons in the UK and as Clue by Parker Brothers in the United States.

The suspects are Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Professor Plum, and the classic weapons are the candlestick, knife, lead pipe, revolver, rope and wrench.
