CBS

The CBS eye is one of the most recognizable logos in television history. Designed by William Golden and first aired in 1951, it was inspired partly by Pennsylvania Dutch hex symbols and partly by a Shaker drawing of an eye, and it has barely changed in more than seventy years.

CBS itself began in 1927 as a radio network, the Columbia Broadcasting System, before becoming a cornerstone of American television.
