Tom and Jerry Cat and Mouse Youth Hoodie

This Cat and Mouse design comes from Tom and Jerry, the cat-and-mouse shorts Hanna and Barbera started at MGM in 1940, which won seven Academy Awards without either lead ever really speaking. Hanna and Barbera went on to found the studio that made Scooby-Doo, The Flintstones and Yogi Bear. The precise, elastic timing they developed on these shorts is the foundation of all of it.

The first short, Puss Gets the Boot, called them Jasper and Jinx. The names Tom and Jerry came from a staff competition after the studio realised it had a hit.
