Curly suffered a stroke in 1946 and was replaced by a third Howard brother, Shemp, who had actually been in the act first. Curly is the one most people picture — the high voice, the woob woob woob, the floor spin — and he is generally considered one of the great physical comedians of the century.

Calling Doctor Howard, Doctor Fine, Doctor Howard is from Men in Black, a 1934 short that was nominated for an Academy Award.
