The Smurfs Grouchy T-Shirt

This Grouchy design comes from The Smurfs, the small blue villagers Belgian cartoonist Peyo invented in 1958 and who have since survived comics, Saturday mornings and several feature films. Peyo created the characters in 1958 for a Belgian comic, where they turned up as supporting players and immediately proved more popular than the strip they appeared in. The original name is Les Schtroumpfs, invented on the spot at dinner when Peyo could not remember the word for salt.

They are canonically three apples tall, a measurement Peyo used and which the merchandise has repeated ever since. This one is printed on a carolina blue unisex t-shirt in sizes S through 3XL. Sizes run deep, with plus sizes and Tall fits on the core tee.
