The Hobbit Gandalf Stare Youth Long Sleeve T-Shirt

This Gandalf Stare design comes from The Hobbit, Peter Jackson's return to Middle-earth, which turned a short children's book into three very long films. Guillermo del Toro developed it for two years and was to direct, then left when the schedule slipped past what he could commit to. Jackson took over having already designed much of it around someone else's vision, which is part of why the trilogy feels different from the first three films. Smaug is voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch through motion capture, and the dragon is the most technically impressive creature in either trilogy. Tauriel, played by Evangeline Lilly, does not appear in the book at all and was written for the films.
