The Hobbit Protector T-Shirt

This Protector design comes from The Hobbit, Peter Jackson's return to Middle-earth, which turned a short children's book into three very long films. It was shot at 48 frames per second rather than the standard 24, a format Jackson championed and audiences largely disliked — it made elaborate sets look like television. Very few films have used it since. The Hobbit trilogy ran from 2012 to 2014, directed by Peter Jackson, and it stretched a book of roughly three hundred pages into about eight hours of film.
