The Batman Red Moon and Batmobile Crewneck Sweatshirt

This Red Moon and Batmobile design comes from The Batman, the 2022 film that dropped the origin story entirely and played Gotham as a rain-soaked detective picture. Vengeance is the word the film turns over most: it opens as Batman self-description and ends with him deciding it was the wrong answer. Paul Dano plays the Riddler as a shut-in in a duct-taped tactical mask, and Zoe Kravitz plays Selina Kyle. Colin Farrell is under several hours of prosthetics as the Penguin, unrecognisably so.

Michael Giacchino score is built around a repeating four-note motif written before filming began. Greig Fraser shot Gotham almost entirely in rain and low light, and the red-and-black palette carries straight through to the merchandise.
