Taxi Undisputed Ladies Man T-Shirt

This Undisputed Ladies Man design comes from Taxi, the sitcom that put a handful of people who wanted to be doing anything else in the same garage five nights a week. Taxi ran from 1978 to 1982 on ABC and for a final season on NBC, created by James L. Brooks, Stan Daniels, David Davis and Ed Weinberger — four people who had just come off The Mary Tyler Moore Show and knew exactly how to build an ensemble. Andy Kaufman played Latka Gravas, a mechanic from an unnamed country, built out of the Foreign Man character Kaufman had been performing in clubs. His contract famously also required appearances by his lounge-singer alter ego.

The theme, Angela, is by Bob James, and it is a melancholy instrumental for a comedy, which tells you exactly what kind of show it is. The Sunshine Cab Company is fictional, but the cabs are real Checker Marathons, the standard New York taxi of the era. This one is printed on a cream unisex t-shirt in sizes S through 3XL.
