Stargate SG-1 Nemesis Youth/Toddler T-Shirt

This Nemesis design comes from Stargate SG-1, the series that took a single 1994 film and turned it into ten seasons of stepping through a ring into somewhere else. It spun off Atlantis and Universe and a pair of direct-to-video films, and the fandom that grew around it was organised and loud enough to keep the franchise alive well past the point most networks would have stopped. The villains are the system lords, parasitic aliens who took the names of Egyptian and Norse gods and have been running the galaxy on stolen technology and borrowed mythology for thousands of years. Apophis is the one the show keeps coming back to.

Stargate Command is located under Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado, a real military installation, which is a large part of why the premise feels plausible. The system lords take their names from real mythology: Apophis, Ra, Cronus, Heru-ur, Sokar, Yu. The show treats Earth religion as a rebranding exercise by ancient aliens.
