Stargate SG-1 Homeworld Security T-Shirt

This Homeworld Security design comes from Stargate SG-1, the series that took a single 1994 film and turned it into ten seasons of stepping through a ring into somewhere else. The villains are the system lords, parasitic aliens who took the names of Egyptian and Norse gods and have been running the galaxy on stolen technology and borrowed mythology for thousands of years. Apophis is the one the show keeps coming back to. Richard Dean Anderson plays Colonel Jack O Neill, who treats galactic diplomacy as an inconvenience. Amanda Tapping plays Samantha Carter, the astrophysicist who actually understands the technology. Michael Shanks plays Daniel Jackson and Christopher Judge plays Teal c, a defector from the enemy.

Teal c was played by Christopher Judge across all ten seasons, and the character speaks in a formal register that makes his rare jokes land considerably harder. The line about undomesticated equines is Teal c translating the phrase wild horses could not drag me away into his own extremely literal English. It is the most quoted line in the series.
