Star Trek Delta Crew Crewneck Sweatshirt

This Delta Crew design comes from Star Trek, where you can tell a crew member's division from across the room by the colour of the shirt. Starfleet Academy sits in San Francisco and takes four years. Ex Astris, Scientia — from the stars, knowledge. The year printed on an Academy shirt is a graduating class rather than decoration, and 2254 is Kirk. The Original Series uniforms were cut from velour, which shrank every time it was cleaned and had to be replaced continually through the run. The colour logic was not fixed either: by The Next Generation command and operations had swapped, putting Picard in red and Worf in gold.

Gold is command, blue is sciences and medical, red is operations, engineering and security. The Kobayashi Maru is designed to be unwinnable, and Kirk beat it by reprogramming the simulation.
