Eagle 1, the lead ship of Moonbase Alpha's transporter fleet, as a mission badge. The Eagle was designed by Brian Johnson and is one of the most admired spacecraft ever built for television: a modular spine with a command pod at the front and interchangeable payload sections slung underneath, built to look assembled rather than styled.

Johnson went on to supervise the effects on Alien and The Empire Strikes Back, winning an Academy Award for the latter. The Eagle is where that work started.
