Main Mission, the command centre of Moonbase Alpha, rendered as its own insignia. Martin Landau's Commander John Koenig ran it, with Barbara Bain as Doctor Helena Russell and Barry Morse as Professor Victor Bergman in the first series. Landau and Bain were married at the time and had come to the show together from Mission: Impossible.
The sets were built at Pinewood and the production spent its money where you can see it. Alpha looks like somewhere people actually work, which is a large part of why the design still holds up fifty years on.
As part of our plus size t shirts and everyday graphic tee lineup, this design is printed on a proper heavyweight blank. Available up to 5XL in the adult tee, plus youth and toddler sizes, a juniors v-neck and a hoodie.
