Mega Man
Capcom released Rockman (Mega Man in the West) in 1987. Designer Akira Kitamura chose the blue palette because the NES displayed the widest range of blues. The mainline series ran 11 entries, plus the X, Battle Network, Zero, Star Force and Legends sub-series.
