Since he was trapped in the past, Marty accidentally prevents his future parent’s meeting, thus threatening his very existence.
Did you know that Christopher Lloyd turned down the role of Doc Emmett Brown? Lloyd was recommended by producer Neil Canton to Zemeckis to play the role of Doc Brown. But when they sent the script to Lloyd, the actor threw it in the trash. But later on, his mind changed when he met Zemeckis who was impressed when he explained his ideas for the film and also to the character of Doc Brown.
