Twisted Sister

Believe it or not but Twisted Sister originally came from a New Jersey borough called Ho-Ho-Kus (no joke).  While sometimes perceived as a joke hair band (something they cultivated with their slap stick style videos) they actually had some serious messages regarding parents and kids as well as some strong messages about the American education system.

They started out as Silver Star but changed it to Twisted Sister in 1972.  They started out playing a club called the Mad Hatter in East Quogue NY.  They had the usual band drama then in 1976 hired the great Dee Snider.  They reformed again and started getting known for Dee and Jay Jay rapping with the audience about current topics.  They started doing audience participation stage routines including "Sweet Jane Gong Show" and "Death to Disco".  They had more band drama and in 1984 came out with their first big hit album Stay Hunger and their legendary songs "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock".

Fans of this great band will love these iconic t-shirts in sizes all the way up to 6XL.  Show the world who's gonna take it and isn't with one of these great shirts today!
