I can't be right all the time (or, it appears, a lot of the time). I thought this shirt was really funny and would sell well. Looks like I am wrong. So far I have not sold a single one. I guess everyone is afraid the morons out there will take it literally.
I think I'll focus on other spy related stuff. Here is an article I remember from about six months ago about a school using their laptop webcams to spy on their students. All rights to privacy aside, does this not sound like a recipe for disaster from a creepy point of view? It seems like every week there is a story about some gym teacher spying on students in the locker room or something. Do you really want to open your school up to a potential massive lawsuit like that? Honestly, people are morons. Also, given that schools are desperate for money, does it not strike you as offensive that they are buying nicer labtops? In fact the only reason to justify the add expense of buying the webcam laptops is if your intention were to spy on your students.
This would be a good opportunity to mention one of my favorite stores, International Spy Shop in San Francisco. There are about a billion spy merchandise selling web stores as well, but I just like going in and looking at the stuff. It's interesting to me how much surveillance you can surround yourself with.
I found this site called Weird Spy that looks like a ton of oddball stories. Check out those motorcycle helmets. Amazing.
Here is a video on how to be a spy. I am always taken back by videos that have great production values but look like an eight-year-old wrote it. If you spent 1/4 of the time spent editing on writing you would actually have a decent production.
God I love British humor. Check out this amazing BBC spy short. It starts out looking kind of dumb but in the end is hilarious. Nice and short too. I like stuff that gets to the point (not that I ever do).
When I was a kid I, like many other nerd kids with no girls to hang out with, used to read a lot of Mad Magazine. The best part was always the monthly Spy Verses Spy installment. I found myself consistently rooting for the black spy. Not sure why.
