He is one of the great American sitcom villains, and the series never softens him into a nice man who is secretly kind.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRhea Perlman appeared as Louie girlfriend Zena while married to Danny DeVito, several years before she was cast in Cheers. Reverend Jim was written as a one-episode character. Christopher Lloyd made him a regular, and the driving test scene where Jim asks what a yellow light means is still one of the most replayed sitcom scenes ever shot.
