The Fellowship who sought to stop him is represented by the remaining free people of Middle Earth: men, elves, dwarves, and hobbits – a race who loved the quiet and simple life but will never be the same again after four of its sons decide to leave the comfort of their home called the Shire and do good for the rest of the world.
Did you know that the Lord of the Rings went through several script revisions? When it was just starting out, it was originally going to be two movies only. But at several points in the scripting process, a lot of characters have been modified. Arwen, for example, was the one to dress up as a man and kill the Witch-king.
