King of the Hill
King of the Hill was the creation of animation genius Mike Judge. Fans of good animation will recognize him from Beavis and Butthead and Daria. It stars Hank Hill, All American everyman and generally good fellow with his wife Peggy and son Bobby.
The show has a strong sense of realism in finding humor in everyday situations which is why it resonates so well with Americans. There are few situations Hank and his brood find themselves in that any of us can't identify with or at least imagine being stuck in. For the most part all the characters are good people trying to do their best in a typical world. Who wouldn't want to live in Arlen Texas with Hank and all his friends?
