I have discovered I have a hidden talent. When I go to one of the many shows we do and I talk to people face to face, I have found I am freakishly good at reading what they are in to and making great suggestions that they seem to buy a lot. Just by talking to someone for a couple minutes makes some shirts seem "warm" in my mind to them. I don't know if it's my subconscious mind processing subtle clues better than my "thinking" brain, or some kind of latent psychic ability that for some asinine reason only relates to t-shirts.
Anyway, the reason for this obscure introduction to this shirt is when I ordered it I had a specific friend of mine in mind and sure enough, she bought one. By the way, there is a name for psychic ability as related to inanimate objects, but I can't remember it. I did find this huge list of psychic abilities, but it's freaking massive. I guess if you believe in psychic abilities you have plenty of time to make up names for the different forms it can take. I don't know if I believe or not. There is a lot of weird stuff in the universe, if you know what I mean.
Anyway, I have found guys who feel the need to keep explaining stuff well after everyone present has clearly indicated that they understand and/or don't care seem to suffer from Aspergers Syndrome. I had a friend who was like that. He would start a long, painfully detailed explanation, someone would attempt to shift the conversation in a new direction, he would listen politely for however long the tangent took, and then 10 or 20 minutes later would pick up his explanation almost at the exact word it ended.
Also, first time I ever heard someone talk about Aspergers I swear I thought they said ass burgers, which is weird on multiple levels.
Anyway, if you want to be like my friend and not care so much about stuff here are some fairly good instructions on how to not care. Personally, if it's not actually going to kill me I don't really consider it a problem.
Funny. If you do a search about not caring you get a ton of blogs about people not caring about this or that, but if they really didn't care about whatever they are talking about they wouldn't take the time to blog about it. I really don't care about rattan furniture, so you will never see me write anything about it (Oops!).
Of course, in my case it is often the case that I both don't care AND don't understand. In fact, many times my inability to understand something is a hint that in short order I will soon not care. Either that, or I refuse to make the effort to understand something I don't really care about. It is a conundrum, but I don't care enough about the answer to worry about it.
I think that's about all I care to write about on this shirt for now.
